About Our History

How We Began

In 2020, founder Jeffrey Willis, after more than 25 years in the low-voltage and smart-home industry, set out to find a better permanent holiday lighting solution for his own home. Frustrated by temporary displays and underwhelming permanent options that were either too visible by day, too dim at night, or lacked year-round features, he pursued a system that combined discretion, performance, and practical control.

By 2022 Hawkstone adopted that solution—an intuitive app and a powerful, low-profile lighting system, and began installing high-quality systems across the Inland Northwest.

Quick Timeline:
2005: Company founded — smart-home & low-voltage expertise begins.
2020: Founder searches for a better permanent lighting solution.
