Hawkstone’s Cloud App puts full lighting control in your pocket. Whether you’re across town or across the globe, the app lets you launch scenes, set schedules, and check system status in real time. Designed for everyday usability, our app gives you powerful features without complexity so your lighting is responsive, reliable, and always under your control.

Create the perfect scene — fast
Scenes let you combine color, brightness, and animation into a single saved preset. Create a cozy warm-white for family dinners, a bold team color for game day, or a subtle security mode for overnight. Name it, save it, and the scene will be ready in the Scenes list whenever you need it.
- Tap Create Scene.
- Choose zones, colors, and animations.
- Preview the scene, then save with a name and optional icon.
- Assign the scene to a schedule or quick-access button.
Security & privacy
We built the app with practical security in mind:
- Encrypted connections: Cloud communications use encryption to protect commands and status data.
- Local-first operation: Essential schedules and safety scenes execute on the controller even if the cloud is unreachable.
- Limited data sharing: Our systems only stores the information required to deliver features and support — you control integrations and sharing settings.
Share access safely
Want the neighbors to flip on lights for the block party or a house-sitter to control the patio? Invite users with role-based permissions — Owner, Admin, or Guest — so you control who can change scenes, schedules, or just view status. You can also set temporary access that expires automatically.
Schedule with intelligence
Set recurring schedules or one-off events with flexible triggers:
- Sunset / sunrise sync: Automatically adjust times as seasons change.
- Calendar events: Plan holiday displays or party modes weeks in advance.

Getting started — quick setup
- Download the systems cloud App from the App Store or Google Play (or use the web portal on supported systems).
- Follow the in-app onboarding to connect your controller and name your zones.
- We pre-load suggested scenes and a starter schedule during installation — customize them anytime.
- Invite family members and set permissions from the Account > Users menu.

Do I need a subscription to use the app?

What happens if my internet is down?Core schedules and safety scenes continue to run locally. Remote access will be unavailable until internet is restored, but the controller will keep executing local tasks.

Can I link my lighting to my security cameras?Yes — on supported integrations we can trigger lighting based on camera events for improved footage and deterrence. Ask Hawkstone about your camera platform during the site review.

How long doe the system last?Hawkstone products comes with a Lifetime Product & Installation Warranty. The lifespan of a lighting system is influenced by its usage frequency. When used solely during the holiday season, it can last as long as 30-40 years. On average, a lighting system will last between 20-30 years (assuming it is only used during nighttime hours). The components of our lighting systems last between 75,000 and 100,000 burn hours.
